Benefits of Thilakwatham
It is especially used in amenorrhea associated with abdominal pain.
It is beneficial in conditions like colic pain, flatulence and abdominal pain.
It can be useful in endometriosis, Ovarian cyst, and dysmenorrhoea.
It can be used to eliminate Ama and treat indigestion.
It is very effective in some Vaata kapha dominant diseases. Useful in gynaecological conditions where proper bleeding is not there. It induces bleeding and uterine contractions. It can be useful in many benign and malignant tumours of abdomen.
DOSAGE
Two teaspoon twice daily one hour before food or as directed by the physician

Tila Kwatha Granules is a Granules prepared out of natural herbal ingredients, which Consist of water-soluble active principles.
Indication: Useful in Amenorrhoea, Polycystic ovarian syndrome.
Dose: 10 gms twice daily before food or as directed by a physician.
Side effects: No known side effects, an overdose may induce gastric irritation. Use this medicine under medical supervision.

Method of preparation: 1 Part of dry medicine boiled along with a sufficient quantity of jaggery and ghee in 16 parts of water and reduced to 4 parts.
Thilakwatham has only one ingredient.
It should be washed well and dried up in shade.
Take seeds of Thila in dried & crushed form, make it a Potli with a clean white cloth and put it in an earthen pot. Now add 16 times clean water into it. Make it boil and then cook in the open vessel with low fire. Reduce the quantity to one by eighth of the initial quantity. Make sure to mix it in between with a wooden spatula. Also, the fire should be kept low to make sure that all the active ingredients in the herbs needed are absorbed well into the water. Once the quantity is reduced to one by eighth of the initial amount of water, remove the vessel from the fire. Squeeze and drain through a clean white cloth. Collect the decoction in a clean vessel and discard the solid waste. Drink the mild warm decoction.
Method of Storage: stored in an airtight container in a dry place.
